Our history
Staff In Hand Consulting, LLC was formed in July 2019 to give organizations a direct way to make sure the perspectives of underserved populations are represented in program design and evaluation.
Since then, work has included an instructional design engagement for Old Dominion University Research Foundation's Perkins V Career and Technical Education initiative (2021-2022), a qualitative research study for the Virginia Department of Health examining prenatal nutrition barriers among women of color in Hampton Roads (2023-2024), and ongoing strategic planning support for the Virginia Beach Department of Public Health's Community Health Improvement Plan Implementation Plan.
Our mission
Staff In Hand Consulting, LLC designs and conducts program evaluation, applied research methods and instructional design work for federally funded education, public health, and workforce development initiatives. The firm supports organizations across the full grant lifecycle, from evaluation planning through final reporting, and produces findings that project leadership and funders can act on directly.
